Lockhart Picnic Races are back! And so is the train, so you can travel in style on race day from Junee or Wagga Wagga.
Let us do all the driving while you settle back in comfortable seats and watch the passing scenery. Of course that means you can enjoy a responsibly consumed beverage on board.
A bus will transport you between the railway station and the racecourse
The train itself is a LICENSED EVENT. Consumption of your own alcohol on board the train will be prohibited. Your support of the LVR Cash/EFTPOS bar will be appreciated!
However, we understand many eskies will also be making trip to join you for your day at the races. They will be stowed on board in a section that will not be accessibile during the journey. Esky transport between the railway station and the racecourse will also be available.

*Children under 4 not occupying a seat are free. Child 4 - 16 years is a child fare. Passengers 16 or older are an adult fare. Please note 123 Tix charges a $1 administration fee in addition to your fare. Terms and conditions apply. This tour departs from and returns to Junee and Wagga Wagga Stations. We request that you arrive at your station at least 20 minutes prior to the departure of your train. We are not able to wait for delayed persons. Departure times are indicative and may change once timings are confirmed with Track Operators. We will contact ticket holders with a finalised departure time prior to the trip.
