Join us for a fabulous Spring day out aboard our 'Daffodil Express' hauled by our Heritage 47 class Diesel. Settle back in our 1930s carriages and take in the passing scenery as we head for Tarana or Rydal.
Board the train at either Orange, Millthorpe, Blayney or Bathurst and choose to disembark at Tarana for lunch (own expense) at the nearby pub, or disembark at Rydal to view the spectacular daffodil displays.

This year's event, we are raising funds for Cancer Council Australia. you can choose from $5, $10, $25 or $50 donations. If you can't make it for the train trip, you are more than welcome to donate as well.

TARANA
If you choose to alight at Tarana You will have approximately 3hrs to spend in here before rejoining the train at 3:20pm so why not make a booking with family and friends and head across to the Tarana Hotel for lunch. Established in 1873 in the picturesque Tarana Valley in Central West NSW, the Tarana Hotel is described as a hidden gem!

RYDAL
Passengers alighting in Rydal have the option to pre book a visit to “Daffodils at Rydal.”
"Daffodils at Rydal" is hosted at the Rydal Showground which is a short 6 minute (500m) walk from the station. You will have just over 2 hours in Rydal before re joining the train at the station .

This tour starts from and returns to Orange Station. You are requested to be at the station at least 20 minutes prior to departure. Departure times are indicative and may change once timings are confirmed with Track Operators.
