This tour departs from and returns to Orange, Millthorpe and Blayney Stations. You are requested to be at the station at least 20 minutes prior to departure. Departure times are indicative and may change once timings are confirmed with Track Operators.

Bathurst

Enjoy approximately 3hrs exploring this delightful town with much to see within a short walking distance from the station. Perhaps even simply head across the road to The Victoria Hotel for lunch. Established in 1876, it has its own distinct style being part-pub, restaurant, gallery, live music venue & boutique hotel. Additionally there are further restaurants and cafes on Keppel St.

 

The Bathurst Rail Museum is right next door to the station and is well worth a visit. Learn about the rich railway history of the Central West through artefacts, photos and a spectacular model train layout of the Main West Line showing how the line used to look between Tarana and Bathurst in the 1950s-60s.
