Becoming a member of the LVR

LVR members are able to participate in all aspects of the activates taking place in and out of Cowra and on board the trains. Members can help out in any way. Any trade skills or specialised knowledge can put to use around Cowra loco itself, restoring locos or rolling stock, maintaining per-way, crewing trains, selling tickets or many other possibilities.

Each small contribution goes towards the total picture and is most welcome. Benefits include being able to share in the experiences from labouring over a loco to being part of the team at a running weekend, enabling hundreds of passengers to re-live some of the former train operations in NSW.

A quarterly newsletter keeps members up-to-date with activities and events, plus reports on recent activities are also presented.
