Getting to the Lachlan Valley Railway Locomotive Depot & Museum

Cowra is situated 310km west of Sydney. By car, it takes approx. 4 hours drive via the Great Western and Mid Western Highways. The depot is situated in Campbell Street. Travelling from Sydney, follow the Mid Western Highway (Kendal St) into Cowra, then turn left into Fitzroy St (just past the BP petrol station). Follow Fitzroy St to the "Give Way" sign at Brougham St, then turn left. Follow Brougham St across the level crossing, taking the first street on the right - Campbell St. Follow Campbell St to the end, then follow the gravel driveway to the LVR car park behind the round house. The depot is open for visitors on weekends and NSW public holidays.
